stopping auto windows update

Every time my desk top is loading (Window XP Home) the SYSTEM 32 folder opens up, how do I stop it? No virus!?

I have The Shield Antivirus 2006 and completely scanned my computer and it tells me that I have no virus. I update my antivirus everyday. Please tell me how to stop the system 32 from popping up every time I load my desk top up. The XP home edition OS is legit and auto updates on windows. Thanks! Cool Fish

start/run/msconfig/click on the last tab and uncheck all of them
